Job Description
A laboratory in Randburg, Johannesburg, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in the fundamentals of dental technology and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and adjustment of dental prosthetics (crowns, bridges, dentures, etc.) using traditional methods
- Preparation and pouring of dental impressions
- Model trimming and articulation
- Waxing, investing, and casting
- Polishing and finishing of dental appliances
- Adhering to lab protocols and maintaining quality control
- Assisting with general laboratory tasks and maintaining a clean, organised workspace
- Relevant qualification or certification in Dental Technology
- HPCSA registration (or eligible to register)
- 1-2 years of experience in a dental laboratory (preferred)
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
