Key Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare patients for dental treatments and procedures Retrieve and update patient dental records Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments, materials, and equipment Operate suction and related devices to maintain a clear working field Prepare and maintain tray setups for dental procedures Sterilise and disinfect instruments and equipment according to protocol Prepare materials for dental impressions and restorative procedures Manage stock control and ordering of dental supplies Assist with X-ray administration, audits, recalls, and related administration Maintain a clean, compliant, and professional clinical environment

Minimum Requirements

Diploma in Dental Assisting

HPCSA registration is essential

Matric and/or relevant dental assisting qualification Minimum

1 year dental chair assistant experience

(advantageous) Willingness to work

1-2 Saturdays per month

Fluent in

English and Afrikaans
