Salary: R8,000 - R10,000 (Negotiable Depending on Experience)
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a passionate and dedicated Demi Chef for a luxury private nature reserve based near Hermanus. This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional looking to develop their skills in a high-end, nature-based hospitality environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within a high-end kitchen
Culinary qualification preferred
Strong attention to detail and passion for quality and presentation
Ability to work well within a team and under pressure
Excellent communication skills
Willingness to live and work in a remote location
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
Support the Senior Chefs in daily kitchen operations
Help ensure stock is rotated and stored correctly
Maintain a positive and professional approach with guests and team members
