About the Role
We're on the lookout for a
Demand Planner
to join our dynamicSupply Chain team
at our Head Office in Westville, Durban. You'll be responsible for ensuring our operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. From building forecast models to aligning internal and external supply needs, this is your opportunity to drive impact and shape our growth journey.###
Minimum Requirements
A
degree in Supply Chain Management
2-5 years' experience
in demand planning (FMCG experience is a plus) Advanced MS Excel and solid WMS knowledge Strong analytical, forecasting, and inventory planning skills Experience engaging across:+
Internal stakeholders:
Buyers, Store Operations, Distribution Centres+
External stakeholders:
Suppliers, KAMs, 3PLs, Transporters###
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop accurate forecasts in collaboration with cross-functional teams Analyse sales trends, market data, and customer insights to drive forecast accuracy Conduct regular demand planning reviews with external partners Align replenishment strategies with inventory and sales goals Manage supplier and transporter relationships to streamline inventory flow * Track performance metrics and continuously improve planning processes
