, permanent Position: Delivery Driver Venture Resources is a leading logistics and transportation company based in Durban, South Africa. We are seeking reliable and dedicated Delivery Drivers to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to customers in a timely manner. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate delivery records and ensuring that all deliveries are made in accordance with company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently transport goods to designated locations - Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely delivery - Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle - Ensure all deliveries are made in accordance with company policies and procedures - Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures and receipts - Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner - Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any issues to management - Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations - Assist with warehouse duties as needed Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid driver's license and clean driving record - Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Strong communication and customer service skills - Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects - Familiarity with GPS devices and electronic logging systems Working Conditions: The Delivery Driver will primarily work on the road, making deliveries in and around Durban. They may also be required to work in the warehouse and assist with loading and unloading goods. This is a full-time position with regular working hours, but occasional overtime may be required.
