About the Role

We are recruiting delivery drivers for a leading e-commerce brand. You'll be responsible for delivering food and parcels across Cape Town.

This role is

for bike and scooter drivers only

. Applicants must hold a valid

Code A or A1 license

.

If you don't own a bike or scooter, we offer:

Petrol bike rental Electric bike rental Rent-to-own options
Minimum Requirements (Own Vehicle)

Reliable scooter or motorbike (owned, rented, or borrowed) Valid ID (certified copy) Valid driver's license (certified copy, matching vehicle type) Vehicle registration papers + valid license disk Valid roadworthy certificate Proof of residence (certified copy of bank statement acceptable) Smartphone with data (to run Takealot / Mr D Driver apps) Bank account details (for payouts) Clear criminal record (background checks will be conducted)
Additional Requirements

For Foreign Nationals / Asylum Seekers:

All legal documentation must be valid and on hand (permits, visas, asylum documents, work authorization, etc.) Permit/visa must allow you to conduct business in South Africa (

work permits are not accepted

)

If Using a Rented/Borrowed Vehicle:

All documents listed above, plus: Letter from vehicle owner granting permission to use the vehicle Copy of owner's ID/passport Traffic Register Number (TRN) if owner is not South African BRNC (Business Registration Number Certificate) if vehicle is registered to a business
