Provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys handling defended foreclosure cases.
Draft, process, and prepare legal documents under attorney supervision, including:
Notices
Pleadings
Motions
Sheriff's letters
Other litigation-related documents
Manage and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy, up-to-date records, and legal compliance.
Handle dictation typing with speed and precision.
Liaise professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and internal legal teams.
Ensure timely filing of court documents, coordination of court dates, and adherence to legal deadlines.
Support attorneys with general administrative tasks relevant to the defended foreclosure process.
Maintain accurate records and correspondence using required legal and banking systems.
3 to 5 years of experience as a Litigation Secretary, specifically in defended foreclosure litigation.
Experience with Standard Bank foreclosure matters is highly preferred.
