Our Club Travel team is looking for an

Debtors Team Leader

to join the team!

About the Role

To supervise the Debtors Team and execute/oversee all accounting functions in the team as expected by the Finance department. To ensure any flow of funds into or out of the company follow company internal control procedures to protect against fraud and error.

Key Responsibilities (include but is not limited to)

General Administration/Internal Processes:


Adherence of internal control policies. Deadlines met for month end to ensure department deadlines are met. Accurate invoicing and processing of documents. Weekly reports 723. Monthly listing. Write off forms (ensure all commission invoicing and refund credit notes are processed and accurate). Confidentiality of client credit card information. Run zero balance report weekly. Allocations (ensure all accounts are allocated on 301 in the system). Ad hoc tasks that are required within Operations across all teams as per business needs.

Management of Teams:


Ensure daily/weekly/monthly duties/SOPs are executed accurately and on time. Assigning resources to effectively achieve objectives. Develop subordinates' skills and encourage growth. Succession Planning. Assist staff to resolve operation problems.

Skills and Qualifications

National Senior Certificate. A Financial tertiary qualification or equivalent Knowledge of accounting principles is essential. Working knowledge of PROTAS would be an advantage. Minimum 4 years creditors/debtors experience in a travel environment. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Evident leadership qualities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer literate with MS office (intermediate excel) and Gsuite.
