Type: Full-Time | Office-BasedHire Resolve's Client are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Debtors Clerk to join their finance team in Umhlanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable function, ensuring the accurate and timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the telecommunications infrastructure space.This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of billing processes, and the ability to work within a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full debtors function, including invoicing, account reconciliations, and collections
• Generate accurate customer invoices based on contracts and project milestones
• Follow up on outstanding payments via phone, email, and formal correspondence
• Maintain updated records of customer accounts, receipts, and payment history
• Investigate and resolve customer queries related to billing or payment discrepancies
• Prepare monthly age analysis and debtor reports for management review
• Ensure compliance with internal credit control policies and procedures
• Support the finance team with month-end closing processes and audit preparation
• Liaise with project managers and the commercial team to align billing with contractual terms

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
• A finance-related qualification (Diploma or Degree) is advantageous
• Minimum 23 years experience in a similar role (preferably in telecoms, construction, or engineering)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Xero, Sage, or similar)
• Knowledge of debtors ledger, collections procedures, and reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Fluent in English; knowledge of isiZulu is an advantage
