Debtors Clerk
Job Description
Salary will be discussed in the interview and is based on experience. Must be able to handle a high performing culture. (This role is not for the faint hearted) Qualifications:
Matric
2-3 years related experience as a Debtors Controller, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
Strong understanding of credit control principles.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with accounting software.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Analytical and problem-solving mindset. Responsibilities:
Manage and control the debtors function.
Monitor and reconcile customer accounts.
Ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
Implement and enforce credit control policies.
Provide regular reports on debtor status.
Collaborate with sales and finance teams.
Resolve customer billing issues.
Evaluate creditworthiness of new customers.
