i) remittance advice notes are received from clients and payments allocated correct ii) accounts are reconciled periodically and kept up to date and client queries addressed promptly. iii) statements are sent out to clients on time monthly or as per request. iv) the age analysis is maintained in good health and within the aging threshold standards (for example less than 4% for 120days) v) clients are contacted as frequently as necessary and that important updates are sent to clients vi) Difficult accounts (+60 days) are handled as per policy (to be provided) and escalated to the Finance Manager and Bus Dev Manager.
Creating and maintaining customer accounts in Pastel. Ensure that the system is kept up to date with all changes.
Generate reports that give management insight on the cash flow management process
Ensure all records are updated for financial audit as well as avail oneself for queries arising during the audit process
File, archive and retrieve company data and documentation. This is critical for trend analyses
Ensure compliance documents are up to date/are renewed on time
Vendor management. Managing vendor portals and ensuring compliance. Completing vendor forms and tender documentation
Requirements: Matric
At least four years experience in a similar position
Data capturing
Microsoft suite
Expeerience working on Pastel
Reporting
Teamworking Reconciliation
Fluent in English and Afrikaans due to client base
