Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dealership, including New and Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales, Workshop, Parts, and Finance & Insurance departments.
  • Drive profitability through effective cost management, revenue generation, and strategic planning.
  • Develop and implement business plans and marketing strategies to achieve sales and service targets.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and promote a customer-centric culture across the dealership.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, manufacturer standards, and internal company policies.
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate department managers and staff to achieve optimal performance.
  • Analyze financial reports and KPIs to monitor business performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ensure stock availability, and manage vehicle ordering processes.
  • Promote continuous improvement and innovation in dealership processes and service delivery.
Minimum Requirements
  • Matric / Grade 12
  • A Management Degree or Diploma (essential)
  • Minimum 5 years of proven management experience within the automotive industry
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Excellent financial acumen and analytical ability
  • In-depth knowledge of dealership operations and automotive industry standards
  • A track record of successfully meeting and exceeding targets
  • Valid driver's license
