About the Role

We're looking for an experienced finance professional to lead the execution of complex financing transactions across local and African markets. This role offers the opportunity to deliver innovative, sustainable, and profitable structured finance solutions while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at senior levels.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end deal execution, including financial analysis, structuring, documentation, and credit applications. Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and delivery excellence. Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment with strategic objectives. Evaluate and monitor credit exposure, ensuring transactions meet risk and compliance standards. Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and improve business processes. Support business growth initiatives through proactive deal sourcing and market analysis. Mentor and guide junior team members to develop skills and ensure quality outputs.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualification such as CA(SA), CFA, or CIMA preferred. 6-8 years' experience in structured finance, corporate finance, or investment banking. Proven track record in deal structuring, credit assessment, and transaction execution. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial modelling tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent relationship management and communication skills. Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously. Sound understanding of credit risk, regulatory frameworks, and financial instruments. Collaborative mindset and commitment to high professional standards.
SALARIES ARE MARKET RELATED AND COMMENSURATE BASED ON EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
