Our client is looking for a DC Admin Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. The company is a well-established organisation in the direct-selling industry, known for its quality products and strong national presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all administrative functions within the distribution centre, ensuring smooth operations, optimised processes, and effective communication across departments. This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to implement best practices, streamline workflows, and guide a high-performance team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement administrative policies, procedures, and systems
Oversee and maintain office facilities, resources, and information flow
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Manage financial records and administrative expenses
Coordinate and prioritise tasks and projects to meet deadlines
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
Train, coach, and mentor the DC administrative team
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
Support cross-functional projects and departmental collaboration
Attend to customer and distributor inquiries, both local and international
Manage key accounts and resolve customer complaints
Ensure contracts with customers and distributors are current
Identify and mitigate operational, legal, and financial risks
Conduct audits and implement improvements for compliance
Requirements:
BCom in Logistics, or Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Logistics, or equivalent
At least 6 years in an administrative role, with 25 years in a managerial position
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven leadership and team management ability
Analytical thinking and effective problem-solving skills
Experience with inventory management practices
