Database Administrator:
We are currently looking for a Database Administrator that will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, performance, integrity, and security of several Oracle databases. Duties will include the design and creation of databases, planning and maintenance of data configuration, implementation and enforcement of database security and investigating and solving database and production system errors.
Key skills will include being able to monitor and tune database performance ,establish and manage objective database performance criteria .with regards to the SQL element, you will be expected to establish and manage standards for SQL queries within the system, review SQL, server and application error logs and troubleshoot issues .You will also be expected to establish the database security procedures and enforce their application, advise on the database design requirements.Your responsibilities will include:

• Database and Grid infrastructure installation and configuration
• Database and Grid infrastructure maintenance in term of patching and upgrade
• Database performance investigation, tuning and recommendations.
• Database table creates and integration within house DB xe2x80x93 manager PL/SQL solution in term of
• Automated data archiving
• Automated data compression
• Automated table partitioning
• Data restoration
• Oracle Enterprise Manager monitoring deployment and configuration
• OracleRMAN backup integration using various media management layers.
• Resolution of customer requests within the allocated priority base timeline
• Generate audit and user/environment review based reports.
• Generate capacity utilization historical trending and forecasting reports.
• Generate any required adhoc based report where needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Senior certificate
• Relevant IT qualification (Diploma or degree)
• Basic Unix/Linux knowledge advantageous
• Knowledge of relational database and stored procedures advantageous
• Relevant database SQL query structure knowledge advantageous
• Knowledge of ERD and use Case diagram advantageous.
• Oracle certificate advantageous
