Are you a Data Science maestro ready to make a strategic impact? Our client is on the lookout for a dynamic Data Scientist for a permanent role based in Pretoria.
Position Purpose: Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for applying data science and advanced quantitative methods, including machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, and predictive analytics. This role will enable key strategic, tactical, and operational use-cases within the domain of marketing, communications, strategy, and Natural Language Processing.
Minimum Requirements & Key Competency:
- Education: Bachelorxe2x80x99s or Honourxe2x80x99s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics, Actuarial Science, or equivalent experience.
- Advantage: Master's in Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics will be an advantage.
- Experience: 3+ years of data science and analysis experience.
- Programming Skills: Proficient in Python and database technologies.
- Driver's License: Valid Driverxe2x80x99s License.
