Key Responsibilities:

• Perform statistical analysis, forecasting, predictive modeling, simulation, and optimization.
• Assess new data sources and improve data collection techniques to support analytic systems.
• Design and implement advanced analytics models to uncover business opportunities and drive performance improvements.
• Communicate analytical findings through data visualization and reporting to business stakeholders.
• Provide technical expertise in machine learning, cloud technologies, and APIs.
• Support the migration of on-premise solutions to the cloud and maintain existing models.
• Coach and mentor Junior Data Scientists and Analysts.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities and drive adoption of data science solutions.
• Ensure that infrastructure and tools (databases, BI tools, modeling software) meet analytical requirements.
• Monitor model performance and build structures to track usage and effectiveness.

• 46 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in data analytics, including big data, statistical modeling, and database mining.
• Experience with classification models, anomaly detection, regression, and neural networks.
• Skilled in Python, SQL Server, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Azure is advantageous.
• Familiar with Python APIs and data science best practices.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Strong project management and delivery capabilities.

• Matric certificate.
• Bachelors Degree in Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• A data science-specific qualification is preferred.
