About the Role

As a Data Scientist you will take a lead in working with best practices and processes. Reviewing requirements and results with supervisors, you will define project scopes, and then develop and deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

Leading project teams of data scientists, defining scopes and delivering outcomes

Solving problems in natural language processing, machine learning, and information retrieval

Researching, building, and deploying models based on both shallow and deep machine learning

Executing the team's Data Science best practices, and coaching more junior members

Participating in model reviews with key stakeholders, including stakeholders with limited statistical backgrounds from among that set

Working with product leaders to apply data science solutions

Primarily provide support to more senior Data Scientists

Pulls data, cleans data, builds and maintains existing models

Participates in result presentation to internal stakeholders

Requirements

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Be a natural problem solver, able to collaborate with your team to resolve issues

Have a good knowledge of software development methodologies

Have a passion for technology and a desire to learn and progress quickly

Have some experience in a data scientist role

Have a Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in a Scientific, Mathematical or Computer field
