Data Scientist
The Data Scientist will be responsible for designing and developing data models and algorithms, identifying trends in complex data sets, and providing insights to the technical and business teams. The Data Scientist must be able to communicate complex results effectively to the business stakeholders.
1. Connecting with a multitude of stakeholders to understand the data in a operational context
2. Research and application of the most up to date machine learning algorithms and AI techniques
3. Present data and model findings in a way that provides actionable insights to business users
4. Monitoring model performance
5. Improve processes and databases where opportunities arise
6. Conduct end-to-end analysis of data; from data gathering, processing, analysis, to insight synthesis and presentation - to measure the causal impact of campaigns and product launches.
Higher Education & Training
Bachelor''s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
Matric/Grade 12
Valid SA drivers license
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years Data Scientist experience in Data Visualisation and Data Analysis. Have a solid understanding of business and financial process performance improvement.
Experience in Facilities Management or Property Management industries will be advantageous
IT Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
Data Science, Statistics, and Data Analytics skills
Salary - Market related
