Internship Overview:

The most exciting part of this dynamic role is the opportunity to learn about Data Analytics, AI/ML solutions in the real world!



As a Data Scientist Intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment of our solutions at customer sites. Our primary value proposition is the delivery of insights that are both meaningful, understandable and actionable. Realising this value requires a thorough understanding of our customers' needs and the operational environments in which they function.



You will support the team by delivering meaningful insights to customers. Your responsibilities will include learning to maintain data pipelines, and learning to train operational AI/ML models. You will also prepare reports and issue other customer communications.

Tasks may include:

Identifying key data sources and guiding the configuration of data extraction systems. Understanding the generated data and the physical processes underlying data production. Building data processing scripts to extract key aspects of the process and represent the flow of material through the production process. Training and evaluating models. Performing qualitative and quantitative investigations. Communicating data exploration, analytics and modelling results to stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

STEM Qualification: Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or similar degree. Experience working with Python, with exposure to introductory data science. Experience using Linux systems. Experience working with manufacturing or production data would be a huge advantage. Basic understanding of software engineering principles. Principled and practical understanding of basic statistics and high level machine learning.
