Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer with one of our International clients (Remote).
Requirements:
- Must have completed Grade 12
- Must have a relevant tertiary qualification
- Experience in DevOps, Software development, data engineering
- SQL, NoSQL databases
- Power BI, Hadoop, Spark, or Hive
- Python, Java, and Scala
- Knowledge of data pipeline tools: Kafka, Airflow or Nifi
- AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Snowflake
- Knowledge of Data Modelling and data architecture standards
- Understanding of Machine learning
- Must be familiar with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tool
