Brief Call

: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews

(the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study

: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

We are seeking a skilled

Data Engineer

to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with data scientists to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure that support our analytics and machine learning initiatives. Your creativity and innovative mindset will be essential in introducing new ideas and improving our data processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with data scientists to understand data requirements and develop efficient data pipelines. Design and implement data models and architectures using Hadoop. Utilize PowerBI for data visualization and reporting. Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation. Work with various data engineering tools to ensure data quality and accessibility. Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and workflows. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.

Profile Requirements:

Proven experience as a

Data Engineer

or in a similar role. Proficiency in

Hadoop

is

crucial

. Strong knowledge of

PowerBI

and

SQL

. Experience with different data engineering tools. Familiarity with

Python

is beneficial. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
