Job Description


Are you a Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience in building data intensive applications, while tackling challenging architectural and scalability problems in Finance? We seek a detail-oriented data engineer with a broad-ranging experience in improving business and operational processes by leveraging data. You must be disciplined and versatile, with a gift for analysing data processes and developing useful metrics and benchmarks for tracking.

Requirements:

  • To build, maintain and improve upon a system to manage existing customer data sourced internally or externally.
  • Good knowledge and experience in the design of BI solutions with an emphasis on ETL processes using MS BI Stack
  • Designing and application of data warehouse principles.
  • Solid exposure to developing and querying data using SQL
  • Solid understanding of database design principles and good practice coding standards.
  • Modelling data and designing BI solutions.
  • Experience in developing solutions in AWS platform (i.e. DMS, Glue and Redshift)
  • Developing solutions in python is high advantageous.
  • Must have previous experience working with R or Python
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline is required
  • Added advantage would be a qualification in the Data Science field
