Job Description

This position supports a USAID-funded program operating across three districts-Ehlanzeni, Nkangala, and Gert Sibande-in Mpumalanga Province. Led by Pact and supported by mothers2mothers (m2m), the initiative focuses on delivering vital community-based services to children living with HIV (CLHIV), 0 to 20 years old, as well as their families. Working closely with government bodies like the Department of Health and other key partners, this role plays a crucial part in reaching and retaining these vulnerable populations throughout the HIV care continuum. The project's implementation is planned from July 1 to September 15, 2025, with dates potentially subject to adjustment.
Key Performance Areas:
Data Capturing:

  • Ensure receipt of all daily and other reporting forms from sites /community and capture on CBIMS (100%)
  • Documenting of number of forms/files received on all reporting platforms (100%
  • Participate in data analysis and drafting of related reports and/or presentations (100%)
Data Quality:
  • Ensure complete and accurate data entry and follow up where there are missing data reporting forms, implement data quality controls into CBIMS or any other project database (100%)
  • Run data quality checks and data audits at random (100%)
  • Review and conduct first level data cleaning before data entry and communicate discrepancies to Data Quality Assistant (50%.
  • Conduct audit and record on all projects data captured (50%).
Training and Development:
  • Identify key areas of development of Family Mentors in line with data submitted (100%.
  • Document key areas of development from the data submitted (100%).
Administration and Support:
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by line or any other senior manager (100%)
  • Maintain filing system to ensure secure and organized storage of site reporting forms and M&E documents (100%)o
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Matric certificate
Competencies:
  • Minimum of 1 year data capturing experience
  • Basic administrative and computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Statistical software experience I.e. MS Access and Excel
  • Basic filing experience
  • Fluency in English and another official South African Language
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Possess good analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability and willingness to meet reporting deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure and have sensible judgment
