We are looking for a

Customer Technologist

to join our Technical Department. This role blends technical expertise, customer engagement, and market insight to deliver exceptional fruit quality and strong customer relationships.

What you will do:

Act as the technical link between our marketing team, customers, and growers. Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers through direct engagement and seasonal visits (in-country or abroad). Develop and maintain product and packaging specifications to meet market needs. Lead technical investigations into quality claims and ensure swift, effective resolution. Collaborate on New Product Development, from trial design to commercialisation. Support supply development, quality benchmarking, and year-round product excellence.

What we are looking for:

Qualification: Applicable tertiary qualification, Agricultural Sciences preferred. Experience: 2-4 years in fresh produce (soft fruit experience highly desirable) or a similar role. Strong knowledge of quality control processes, supply chain handling, and customer relations. Computer literacy: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and thrive under seasonal pressure.

Working conditions:

Office, packhouse, and in-field environments. Occasional travel locally and internationally (15% of the time). Seasonal flexibility required (5-7 days/week during peak season).
