Competitor Monitor is a UK-based e-commerce intelligence company helping leading brands and retail chains manage pricing, maintain customer loyalty, and monitor online reputation. Our global team monitors millions of data points daily, delivering insights through our intelligent software platform.
The Role
As a Customer Success Account Manager, you'll be the primary contact for our global clients (mainly within the UK, Europe, USA), helping them maximize value from our competitor intelligence platform. This varied role involves managing accounts across different brands and sectors through online meetings, email communication, and digital project management.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular online meetings and communication
Onboard new customers and train users on the platform and best practices
Conduct product demonstrations via screen sharing
Handle client enquiries from automated daily reports
Coordinate with technical support to resolve client issues
Monitor and respond to support emails with clarifications, data requests, and bespoke reporting
Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and increased platform usage
Essential Qualities & Skills
Personal Attributes:
Outgoing with strong conversational skills
Excellent written and verbal English communication
Strong listener who takes clear notes and creates action summaries
Well-organized with proactive planning abilities
Naturally helpful, polite, and client-focused
Reliable and detail-oriented with established processes
Takes pride in workload management
Technical Skills:
Confident with IT, office applications, and web conferencing (Zoom, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365/Teams)
Comfortable with day-to-day technology use
Understanding of e-commerce and online business operations
Fast, stable home internet connection (essential for remote work)
Available to work 5 days per week, 7.5 hours per day during UK business hours
Previous Experience:
Customer service experience required
Account management experience desirable
Knowledge of e-commerce technology and automated data collection desirable
Education
