Job Description

GAAP Point of Sale is recruiting a Customer Software Support Consultant. The position is based at our offices in Durban and the successful applicant will be reporting to the National Training Manager or their nominees at GAAP where applicable.List of Responsibilities includes but is not limited to:

  • Training - On-line, classroom and on-site
  • Software support
  • Technical support
  • Customer service
  • Database management - Menu and Stock Builds along with any associated components as well as Head Office Databases
  • General operational duties assigned as required.
Minimum Requirements Competencies:
  • Basic understanding of Food Cost and Accounting.
  • Basic understanding of stock movement within the hospitality sector.
  • Can work with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Reliable car (Insured for business use before commencement date).
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Proficiency on the Gaap Software would advantageous.
  • Tertiary qualification in hospitality or accounting would be advantageous.
*Please note that working hours for this position are from 08:00am - 17:00pm, Monday to Friday but may require working overtime.Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):
