The Recipe for Success: Role Summary
To assist the customer service department by ensuring that excellent levels of customer care and service are delivered to customers at all times in particular focusing on Live Chat, Help Line Calls, Emails (Freshdesk) and Social Media DMs (Sprout). Assist the Cape Town-based Customer Service team by acting as a liaison between customer service and ecommerce operations team at GDC. Prioritise customer requests and ensured timely action and resolution.
The role is based in Johannesburg. You may be required to work on weekends and public holidays.
Ingredients: Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and respond to customer queries or complaints and deal knowledgeably with any complaints or queries, within SLA.
Input and update information as and when directed onto the CRM system.
Find stockists and source products as required for consumers.
Implement the appropriate action to follow up any matters raised by the enquiry that is timely and the most suitable resolution and leaves the consumer satisfied.
Receive and process faulty returns from consumers.
Advise customers on product suitability and care and use of products.
Carry out from time to time and as directed, any other duties as required in addition to the above that will be both reasonable and within your capabilities.
The Perfect Blend:
What We're Looking ForMinimum of 2 years experience in a Customer support role.
User knowledge of CRM systems or database products.
English proficiency - candidate should have a high standard of verbal and written communication
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook to Intermediate Level
Microsoft D365 intermediate knowledge will be beneficial
