Job Description


We currently have a vacancy for a: Customer Service Representative based at the Doves Observatory Branch, Western Cape. Starting Salary: Market related Key Performance Areas: RECEPTIONIST DUTIES

  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
  • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook.
  • Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for office phone and console operation.
  • Request Money for the Hub /Parking Doctors fees, consulate fees etc, compile Fno: of the HUBxe2x80x99s to balance Cash requests.
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Ensure that branches provide excellent funeral services by managing branch complaints and complements report.
FUNERAL ADMINISTRATION
  • Receive First Call telephonically and transfer it to the Administration Controller.
  • Assist walk-in clients that requests a removal to complete an information sheet and refer the client to the Administration Controller
  • Book funeral venues as requested by the Funeral Arranging Officer
  • Book the Minister as requested by the Funeral arranging Officer
  • Log onto the DovesNet system to check stock availability, book the item on the system.
  • Invoicing on DovesNet to other undertakers /removals
  • Book a gravesite or crematorium on request from the Funeral Arranger.
POLICY ADMINISTRATION
  • Receive premiums and process according to company policy.
  • Manage and control of cash receipt books and daily banking of cash.
  • Investigation of incorrect policy numbers on suspense list - Follow up with client on arrear policies.
  • Accurate data capturing of policies on PolicyNet.
  • Compile the Hubxe2x80x99s policy Figures for Area Manager on a weekly basis
Minimum Requirements 1. Grade 12/Matric Certificate 2. 1 Year Receptionist / Secretary experience 3. Proficient in all MS Office packages 4. Customer care Experience 5. Financial services experience Competencies required:
