CROW is seeking a passionate and dynamic Education Officer to lead our Wildlife Warriors Programme, an environmental education initiative designed for children aged 5 to 16. You will deliver engaging talks and tours, develop age-appropriate content, and build strong relationships with schools and communities, all while inspiring the next generation of conservation champions. Key responsibilities
Deliver Wildlife Warriors talks, tours, and training sessions for learners aged 5-16
Design and improve lesson plans based on school feedback
Promote and manage school bookings and educational outreach
Coordinate with volunteers, teachers, and internal teams
Support event planning and community engagement
Maintain accurate records and submit monthly reports
Assist with animal rescues and clinic support when needed
What we are looking for
Proven experience in teaching or youth engagement (formal/informal) especially with ages 5-16
Strong facilitation and public speaking skills (Zulu & English)
Passion for conservation and environmental education
Ability to design interactive, age-appropriate learning experiences
Organized, collaborative, and proactive in gathering feedback
Comfortable with event coordination and stakeholder engagement

Curriculum development experience
Degree in nature conservation or environmental science
