Cross Border Logistics Operator - DurbanFull job descriptionCross Border Logistics Operator - DurbanWe are seeking a Cross Border Logistics Operator with a minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics and transport operations.Key Responsibilities:Opening files and handling general administration, including PODs, invoicing, and acquittals.Managing cross-border documentation such as road consignment notes and customs road manifests.Planning loads, allocating, and efficiently monitoring drivers.Handling border pre-clearance and tracking.Allocating diesel and trip allowances, as well as reconciling diesel consumption on a trip basis.Arranging equipment repairs and scheduling routine maintenance.Managing stock control of transport consumables such as tyres, oil, and coolant.Overseeing containerized and breakbulk loading operations.Requirements:Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Strong ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.Valid driver's license and sober habits.Flexible, able to multitask, and work with minimal supervision and initiative.A qualification from a Maritime College is preferable but not necessary.Work Schedule & Remuneration:Monday - SaturdaySalary: Commensurate with experienceHow to Apply:Send your CV to kaven@rnk.co.za by 25 February 2025Job Type: Temp to permWork Location: In personApplication Deadline: 2025/02/25
