Job Description

We require a Creditors Clerk in Stellenbosch. Advanced Excel and a suitable accounting qualification essential. Fruit industry experience preferred.
Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • At least 1 years cost management experience in the fruit/agriculture/freight industry
  • Accounting qualification (Diploma or higher)
  • Fruit / agriculture industry experience in accounts
  • Advanced Excel (lookups' import mapping)
  • Good eye for detail
  • Ability to work accurately
  • Previous experience working on QX beneficial
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Allocating margins and costs
  • Recons
  • Invoicing on QX
  • Handling disputes
  • Capturing of reports
  • Print/save cost capture reports and prepare remittances for payments
  • Liaising with other departments
  • Using Excel Spreadsheets and formulas (V- and X-lookup).
  • Handling of Creditor Queries.
  • Month end reconciliation of each creditor before remittance packages are prepared for payment
  • Receive, verify rates as per service agreements with providers and code invoices
