A leading and renowned company within the shipping industry and based in Mossel Bay, is looking for a high performing Creditors Clerk to join their vibrant young team. Minimum of 3 - 4 yearsxe2x80x99 experience. You will be responsible for the full creditorxe2x80x99s function of the company: Ensuring that all accounts on the monthly tracker is received on a monthly basis Verify that all invoice details are correct and an original or scanned document (no faxes) Ensuring that all accounts are signed off by the PM or relevant manager Payment of all accounts Payments reconciliation/spreadsheets Calculating wages and UIF and ensuring that calculation sheets and pay slips is updated monthly Dealing with all queries from suppliers relating to payments. All suppliers / contractor liaison Capturing all new suppliers Updating all existing suppliersxe2x80x99 details on MDA & yearly rates schedules Ensuring that all accounts are handed to Debtors Clerk for recoveries Termination and application of supplier services Adhering to the monthly schedule All filing is done relating to debtors and creditors Opening of debtors and creditors files Archiving Filing Applying for credits where necessary Handling and following up of supplier queries Banking (if required and driver not in the office) Reporting Ensuring that the accounts is updated and correct at all times Payment execution Qualification: Matric Diploma / Certificate in Finances 3 to 4 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar role Computer Literacy xe2x80x93 MS Office & Pastel Please note that this is a 6-month contract Skills: Good understanding of accounting principles Good relationship building skills Excellent planning and organizational skills Team player and deadline driven Meticulous attention to detail Please apply with your most recent resume & supporting documents.
