About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Creditor Clerk to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely payments -- all while maintaining strong professional relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and capture supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and on time. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies. Prepare and process monthly and weekly payment runs. Ensure all supplier queries are handled efficiently and professionally. Maintain proper filing and documentation of all creditor transactions. Assist with month-end closing and audit preparations. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all financial information. Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments regarding payment status or outstanding issues.

Skills & Competencies Required:

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a Creditors or Finance role. Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Omni, Sage, or Pastel) and MS Excel. Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines. Professional communication skills and good interpersonal etiquette. Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
