Salary: R13 000 basic (slightly negotiable)
My client is a well-established Construction & Building Renovations company based in Montague Gardens. They are seeking to employ a Creditors Clerk to join their finance team. While construction industry experience is beneficial, it is not essential. The ideal candidate will have a stable career history, be highly organised, and demonstrate strong attention to detail when managing creditors and administrative tasks.
Builders' holidays apply (4 weeks in December-January)
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 08h00 - 17h00
Friday: 08h00 - 15h00
Minimum Requirements - Non-Negotiable:
- Matric with a tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years' experience in a creditors/accounts payable role
- Experience using Pastel and/or Sage Online (essential)
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
- Proven ability to match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
- Capturing supplier invoices and matching to purchase orders
- Reconciling supplier accounts using Sage Online
- Preparing and issuing monthly remittance advices in Excel
- Updating cost reports for construction sites and admin expenses
- Maintaining staff uniform and warehouse stock reports
- Matching invoices to delivery notes and reconciling to monthly statements
- Preparing monthly creditor files and payment schedules
- Assisting the Senior Bookkeeper/Office Manager with general finance and admin tasks
