POSITION INFO:
What You'll Be Doing:

• Design, implement and maintain predictive credit risk models for both consumer and merchant lending portfolios
• Build and refine credit scoring frameworks that influence acquisition, behavioural, and collections strategies
• Monitor model performance, run diagnostics, and ensure ongoing validation in line with internal and regulatory standards
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Risk Teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance
• Support automation and operational deployment of models within production systems
• Generate insights through stress testing, scenario analysis, and exploratory analytics
• Present modelling results to internal governance forums and assist with regulatory reporting where needed
• Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with new modelling techniques, regulatory changes, and market trends

What You'll Bring:

• A degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or related quantitative field
• A postgraduate qualification (MSc/PhD) is a strong advantage
• 3-7 years' experience in credit risk modelling, financial modelling, or advanced analytics in

, fintech, or consulting * Strong hands-on proficiency in Python, R, SAS, and SQL

• Exposure to IFRS 9, Basel, or internal capital modelling frameworks
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms is a bonus
