Credit Investment Analyst - GautengReference: CPT000348-LO-1Our client specialises in funding for the Agricultural / Farming sector, and they have a vacancy for a competent Credit Investment Analyst. This position is based in Gauteng.The Credit Investment Analyst will be responsible for analysing and identifying new investment opportunities.Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities: Develop and prepare spreadsheets and models to support analysis of new and existing credit applications.Completing ratio, trend and cash flows analyses and creating projections.Assess creditworthiness of existing or prospective clientsExamine financial transactions and credit history case by case.Deliver a multidimensional perspective on the investment outlook.Determine in depth the degree of risk involved.Carefully analyse data and produce clear and objective reports. Experience and Qualifications:CA (SA) and/or MBA with agriculture/acquisition transaction background.Com Degree (Finance, Accounting, Agricultural Economics, Business Economics).Two to five years of deal structuring and implementation.Minimum of 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in deal making environment.Business development and marketing of agri-business products.Should possess amongst other the following skills to be able to conduct due diligence exercise: o Accounting and/or auditing, law, tax.
