Credit Controller

Job Description
Our financial services client based in Umhlanga requires a Credit Controller, whose primary responsibility is to maintain optimal cash flow, whilst mitigating credit risk.
Key Functions:
- Efficient cash flow management through monitoring debtors, ensuring timely payments from clients and implementing strategies to accelerate collections
- Evaluate and mitigate risk
- Negotiate payment terms with clients
- Resolve billing queries and disputes amicably
- Keep an open line of communication to facilitate future dealings
- Generate regular financial reports
- Maintain accurate records for prompt decision-making
- Utilize software for efficiency
- Ensure compliance with legal frameworks and company policies
- Stay updated with financial regulations
- Implement internal controls to prevent compliance lapses
- Matric
- Tertiary education in finance advantageous
- Minimum 5 years' experience in similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Methodical and pays attention to detail
