Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a well-established team within the manufacturing industry. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Qualifications:
- Matric
- ICM's or
- Studying towards a BCom Accounting
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Credit Control (manufacturing/distribution industry experience advantageous).
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Full function credit control, including debt collection from both private and government entities.
- Managing large book values and volumes
- Reconciling accounts and resolving queries efficiently.
- Monitoring customer accounts and ensuring timely payments.
- Preparing age analysis and reporting on overdue accounts.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
