Credit Controller (3-month contract)
We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller for a 3-month contract to manage national accounts and ensure the prompt collection of debt. The role involves resolving customer queries, making credit-related decisions, and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will oversee major retail accounts while ensuring accurate, timely processing of invoices. The position will be based in Parow, Cape Town.
Key Responsibilitiesa
- Collect outstanding debt promptly and professionally.
- Manage and make credit decisions for national accounts.
- Schedule and attend meetings with customers to resolve queries.
- Ensure accurate and timeous processing of invoices.
- Prepare documentation for customers.
- Reconcile and allocate payments accurately.
- Investigate and resolve queries efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Supervise and check the work of filing/claims and debtors clerks.
- Comply with SHEQ responsibilities.
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Credit Management 1 (minimum).
- Credit Management 2 & 3 (advantageous).
- 3-5 years national accounts experience.
- 2-3 years management experience.
- 2-3 years debtors controlling experience.
