Job Description
A local, established Financial Services company, that prides itself on helping SMExe2x80x99s and finance entrepreneurs with their growth, is looking to hire an experienced, dynamic Credit Analyst for their thriving team based in Johannesburg West.
Your purpose entails analyzing financial statements of multiple SMEs in South Africa across various industry sectors with the aim of providing balanced feedback to the Credit Committee.
Other duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Engage and interview entrepreneurs
- Prepare credit papers for review
- Prepare detail evaluation reports and prepare balanced view credit papers to the Credit Committee
- Conduct on-sight evaluation missions
- Oversee and evaluate lending/investment decisions
- Degree in Commerce, with majors in Finance/Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in business financing/business banking/SME credit analysis
- Exposure to SMEs non-negotiable
- MS packages on advanced level
- Tech savvy
- Analytical problem solver
- Fast learner
- Great interpersonal skills
- Results driven
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in teams
