What the job involves..
Develop strategic frameworks, creative territories and campaign narratives rooted in audience insight and market research
Translate client briefs into clear, inspiring direction for creative teams
Conduct competitive, cultural and industry research to inform brand positioning
Partner with Creative Directors, Copywriters, Designers and Production to bring strategy to life
Build and present compelling strategic and creative decks
Act as a strategic partner to clients -- guiding messaging, audience and campaign direction
Work with account leads to uncover business challenges and propose creative, strategic solutions
Collaborate with media, digital and data teams to track and optimise campaign performance
Continuously refine frameworks and processes to strengthen the agency's strategic output
What you need to be considered..
3-7 years' experience in creative, brand or content strategy within an agency environment
Strong grasp of consumer behaviour, media and digital trends across Africa
Excellent storytelling, writing and presentation skills
Confident working at the intersection of insight, creativity and purpose
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving, ideas-driven environment
Proficiency with research and insight tools (social listening, desk research, etc.)
Experience building integrated campaign strategies across digital, social, experiential and traditional channels
A portfolio or case study deck is required with your CV -- no portfolio, no response
Bonus points if you..
Have experience on purpose-led or social impact campaigns
Are confident using data and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meltwater, etc.)
Bring a background in brand planning, copywriting or digital strategy
