Responsibilities (but not limited to):



Strategic Leadership

Lead integrated creative teams in developing compelling narratives that drive brand differentiation and business growth

Collaborate with Strategy and Client Services to interrogate briefs, uncover insights, and identify breakthrough creative territories

Define tone of voice and messaging frameworks across campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and cultural resonance

Present creative concepts and rationale to clients and stakeholders with persuasive storytelling



Creative Excellence

Conceptualize and craft copy across all channels (TVC, radio, digital, social, OOH, experiential, long-form content)

Champion writing craft that engages, persuades, and moves people

Drive creative quality standards, ensuring every word earns its place and serves the strategy

Stay attuned to cultural conversations, language evolution, and emerging content formats



Team Development & Collaboration

Mentor and develop Copywriters at all levels, nurturing their conceptual thinking and craft

Lead dynamic brainstorms and creative sessions that unlock fresh thinking and diverse perspectives

Partner seamlessly with Art Directors, Designers, Strategists, and Content teams

Provide feedback that sharpens ideas and builds confidence

Production & Execution

Oversee script development, voiceover direction, and content production from concept through delivery

Guide casting decisions, tone, pacing, and editorial choices that protect creative intent

Collaborate with directors, producers, editors, and sound designers throughout production

Manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising creative standards or attention to detail



Qualifications & Experience

Required

4-6 years' experience as Senior Copywriter or similar at a recognized advertising/creative agency

Portfolio showcasing strategic thinking, conceptual range, and exceptional writing craft

Strong TTL (Through-The-Line) and digital campaign experience with demonstrable results

Proven ability to write across formats:

scripts, social content, long-form, headlines, manifestos

Working knowledge of AI writing and content tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, etc.) and how to use them as creative accelerators, not replacements

Outstanding presentation skills with ability to tell compelling stories about your work

Excellent command of English language with sensitivity to tone, rhythm, and cultural nuance

Ability to juggle multiple briefs and deadlines while maintaining creative excellence

Preferred

Tertiary qualification in Copywriting, Advertising, Journalism, English, or related field

Experience writing scripts for radio, podcasts, or audio-first platforms

Understanding of SEO, content strategy, and digital editorial best practices

Experience developing brand voices, messaging architectures, and tone-of-voice guidelines

Familiarity with WorkBook or similar project management platforms

Experience creating social-first content and understanding platform-specific voice and formats

Knowledge of basic video editing or content production processes
