A thrilling in-office opportunity has come up for a talented, art-based Creative Director with ATL experience to join the team at an TTL creative agency in Cape Town.
We're looking for a visionary to lead the creative direction across all agency Brand touchpoints; from concept to execution. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on creative leadership, ensuring every piece of work is both visually striking and strategically on point.

Responsibilities

  • Set the overarching creative vision and ensure it aligns with client objectives and brand positioning.
  • Conceptualise and lead campaigns across print, digital, social, film, outdoor, experiential, and emerging channels.
  • Partner with copywriters, strategists, designers, and producers to bring ideas to life through compelling, cohesive storytelling.
  • Direct the development of mood boards, storyboards, visual mock-ups, and campaign concepts.
  • Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to creative teams, elevating the quality of all outputs.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of design trends, cultural moments, and new technologies to keep work fresh and relevant.
  • Champion the brand's visual identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms and mediums.
  • Present concepts and campaign work to clients with confidence and clarity, articulating the strategic and creative thinking behind each idea.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Advertising, or related field.
  • 10+ years' experience in creative leadership roles within an agency or brand environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering award-worthy campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a high level of art direction, concept development, and integrated campaign work.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to inspire teams and sell ideas.
  • Sharp visual sensibility, strong typographic skills, and a deep understanding of composition and brand systems.
  • Proficiency in creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar applications.
