Job Description
DUTIES
Carrying out the normal duties and functions, which occur within a professional Laboratory Service.
These duties and functions include:-
Collecting of blood specimen and delivery of reports in an appropriate time
Ensuring that blood samples are transported timeously and safely
Comply with minimum standards of efficiency and accuracy, in order to meet company standards
Follow pickup instructions from manager
Inspect the vehicle for any defects and safe operating conditions before, during and after trips; and report any concerns to the manager
Report on all accidents and incidents involving drivers or company equipment
Adhere to the road traffic rules and regulations as per the National Road Traffic Act
Create effective and efficient relationships with internal and external customers to improve operating efficiencies
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 (Matric)
2- 3 years' experience in courier services
A valid South African drivers license
Excellent communication skills
A good knowledge of the designated geographical area
Excellent customer service skills
Honest and reliable
Laboratory experience (Advantage)
