Job Summary Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership

• Define and implement growth strategies to increase market share
• Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to inform decision-making

Operational Oversight

• Ensure smooth daily operations, from order processing to delivery
• Oversee local operations and logistics

Financial Management

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the country operations
• Ensure profitability by monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities

Team Management and Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team
• Establish a collaborative and performance-driven culture

Stakeholder Relations

• Build and maintain relationships with local regulatory bodies, suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders
• Act as the company spokesperson in the country, representing the brand at conferences, media events, and other platforms

Marketing and Customer Acquisition

• Develop a xe2x80x9ccustomer onboarding teamxe2x80x9d to drive new customer acquisition and adoption in the local market.
• Launch and monitor marketing campaigns tailored to the country's audiences

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Excellence

• Ensure superior customer experience by addressing concerns, queries, and feedback promptly
• Innovate and implement customer retention strategies

Risk Management

• Identify potential risks and ensure the development of contingency plans
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelorsxe2x80x99 degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in e-commerce, retail, or a related industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record in leading and growing operations in challenging and dynamic environments
• Strong understanding of the African e-commerce landscape and consumer behaviour
