Job Title: Counter Sales Representative
Location: Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape
Salary: R8,000 R9,000 per month (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time
Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Counter Sales Representative to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service ethic and a technical aptitude to understand our product range. Training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced retail/technical sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist walk-in customers at the sales counter
• Provide accurate information on products and services
• Process sales orders and handle customer transactions efficiently
• Offer basic technical advice and solutions based on customer needs (training will be provided)
• Ensure the counter area is well-maintained and stock is neatly presented
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and promotions
• Handle returns and customer complaints professionally
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse and sales teams

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated technical aptitude or interest in mechanical, electrical, or related products
• Customer-focused with a positive and proactive attitude
• Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure
• Basic computer literacy
