The project:

As the Cape Town region continues to grow and expand with various building projects and infrastructure programmes, we are searching for a dynamic Cost Consultant who has demonstrated an eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving project requirements and expected outcomes.





We will be supporting our regional and international clients on various projects and programmes; from residential and commercial buildings to infrastructure development and transactional advisory services.

You'll be responsible for:

Conducts feasibility studies and advises on procurement strategies, contract selection, and prepares procurement reports. Applies value management techniques at project initiation to optimize outcomes. Leads cost planning and estimating, taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan. Supports contractor procurement, including preparation of contract documents, warranties, and bonds. Administers building contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and managing variations. Provides cost control and reporting, including valuations, financial reports, and change tracking. Evaluates contractor claims for delays and additional costs, ensuring fair resolution. Advises on project completion, including issuing certificates and final account agreements.

You'll need to have:

Right to work, or ability to obtain a VISA for occupation and work in South Africa. Valid Driving License and vehicle Minimum 5-6 years' relevant work experience Evidence to showcase competency in procurement and contract administration, financial management, reporting and presenting, ability to take ownership of and lead workstreams and/ or project requirements
