About the role

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a motivated Cost & Management Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting within the manufacturing industry, who enjoys analysing numbers, improving processes, and ensuring everything runs efficiently.

What You'll Do

Monitor and improve stock control and production processes. Analyse costs and margins to highlight savings and efficiency opportunities. Prepare reports on financial performance, including weekly and monthly updates. Support budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with financial policies. Work closely with managers to provide insights for better decision-making. Assist with audits, VAT reviews, and other regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Working towards or qualified in CIMA (or equivalent). 2-5 years' experience in cost/management accounting in manufacturing (non-negotiable). Strong skills in Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting. Experience with product costing, stock control, and variance analysis. Someone proactive, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities.
