Job Description
We are seeking the expertise of a Cost Accountant to support the continued growth and efficiency of an export fruit operation.
Requirements
2-3 years Cost Accounting in Agri Packing industry Relevant Accounting Degree Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles will be an advantage. Fluent in both English and Afrikaans. Advanced Excel Experience in ERP systems and BOM
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Accurate costing of operations Conduct cost analysis Prepare detailed reports for operational activities. Monitor and evaluate inventory variances, production inefficiencies, and wastage. Manage product costing, inventory reporting, and maintenance. Oversee inventory management processes. Work closely with production and finance teams to design and implement cost control measures. Support budgeting and financial planning activities. Prepare daily and weekly productivity reports. Assist with the rollout and implementation of new systems.
